Navi issues

Hi. I'm Alan and I'm new to this site and I just thought I'd hit you guys/girls up and see if any of you can give me any guidance:
The stock navi system on my 07 SI always has to be kinda rebooted every time I start the car. Is there any solution to this problem without putting a hole in my wallet? I live here in Pomona, Ca.
