so my friends and i were watching my buddy's car get dyno tuned and i thought of an interesting question...

if the delorean from Back To The Future was on a dyno and hit 88mph would it still travel through time? and if it did, would it just get to its destination at a dead stop or would the wheels be still spinning and do a crazy burnout? hahahahah

Here is my take on the subject of Time Travel and the Delorean....

Senario 1
Most likely....it will reach a destination at the same place but different time.....and will probably do 88 mph burnout......which if it was set to be at a specific track or drag strip...I am sure that a sudden appearance of a Delorean doing an 88 mph burnout would be amazing in intself....and the crowd would be like "WTF was that....my honda can spank that All Stainless steel tub of AMC jolllopy...." and then of course Micheal J Fox would come out of the car at the end of the track and try to wheel his car into the pits in utter shame.....hehe

Senario 2
nothing happens at 88 mph and we don't get to see the Delorean dissappear because Back to the Future was just a Hollywood dream of a guy who thought that a Delorean could travel through time.....when they should have picked a Lamborghini or a Ferrari because those two have definately lasted through time as classics and an object of desire......20 years later the Countach still have their own posters and pinups with nude girls on the sexy hood.....you don't see that happening to a Delorean......
